Research Technician

ADS BIOTEC is a leading Biotechnology company based in Omaha. We develop and produce reagents for laboratory and pilot scale processes for the life sciences, primarily but not exclusively for protein, genetic and chromosomal analyses. We also design and manufacture robotic instrumentation for laboratory automation of biological sample processing.

We are seeking a key individual to fill the position of Research Technician. This is multifaceted position that allows work in both a research and production setting. The technician will contribute to the development, validation, and implementation of procedures and processes related to the manufacture and quality control of consumables and new and existing products. Additionally, the technician will contribute to the development of new products and ideas to expand the company’s product lines.

Production work will primarily consist of work in the initiation and development of new products as well as supporting the transfer and scaleup of new products to production. The individual develops and follows written instructions/protocols and maintains contemporaneous records during production.

Advanced Manufacturing Technician

ADS BIOTEC is a leading Biotechnology company based in Omaha. We design and manufacture robotic instrumentation for laboratory automation of biological sample processing. We also develop and produce reagents for laboratory and pilot scale processes for the life sciences, primarily but not exclusively for protein, genetic and chromosomal anlayses.

We are seeking a key individual to fill the position of Advanced manufacturing Technician. This individual will be responsible for working in multiple areas within the manufacturing team to assemble hardware and instrument components and systems, including QC checks and inspections, as well as assist in the semi-automated manufacture and fill of bioconsumable reagents. Reliable record-keeping is a key responsibility in this position.

The Advanced Manufacturing Technician is desired to have an AAS or BS degree in the sciences or mechanical assemblies or equivalent electro-mechanical experience, to be analytically minded and possess excellent attention to detail to perform in manufacturing operations and in the development of new processes and new products for commercialization.

Production Technician

ADS BIOTEC is a leading Biotechnology company based in Omaha. We develop and produce reagents for laboratory and pilot scale processes for the life sciences, primarily but not exclusively for protein, genetic and chromosomal analyses. We also design and manufacture robotic instrumentation for laboratory automation of biological sample processing.

We are seeking a key individual to fill the position of Product Technician. This individual will be responsible for working in multiple areas within the production team to manufacture both chemical reagents as well as assemble hardware and instrument components and systems, including QC checks and inspections. Reliable record-keeping is a key responsibility in this position.

The Production Technician is desired to have production experience either liquid chemical or mechanical, be analytically minded and possess excellent attention to detail to perform in manufacturing operations an also support the development of new products for commercialization.

Biomedical Automation Engineer

ADS Biotec is a leading Bio-technology company with headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. We design and manufacture robotic instrumentation for laboratory automation in processing biological samples. We conduct research, development and production of related reagents for use in laboratory and pilot scale processes for biological, genetic and chromosomal analyses. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the design, development and production launch of these technology-leading products.

We are seeking a key individual to fill the position of Biomedical Automation Engineer. This engineer will participate in Product Life Cycle management activities from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, and after sale service and support. Additionally, the engineer will assist in the planning and execution of studies and testing required for product development, including investigative, feasibility, verification, validation and preparations for product launch, as well as draft and review specifications, testing methods and protocols, instructions for use and other applicable product and instrument documentation.
This individual will Assist the Customer Support organization including control and depot maintenance of spare parts.
This position will require Occasional travel (10%) for repair at customer sites on an emergency basis.

Qualification
This Biomedical Automation Engineer is desired to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or equivalent form of associate degree (two-year college or technical school) combined with two or more years of related experience and/or training. Fluid dynamics/ liquid handling a plus. Laboratory experience using automated systems for analytical or diagnostic work such as HPLC, or similar complex lab systems in heavily preferred. The ability to read and understand mechanical/ electrical drawings/ schematics, and the ability to succinctly prepare and present technical information as well as respond to technical inquiries.
